TropicalSim – Omaha Update

TropicalSim hat ein Update für die jüngst erschienene Umsetzung des Flughafen Omaha veröffentlicht. Neben überarbeiteten Lichteffekten haben die Macher Texturen aufgewertet und Vorfelddetails hinzugefügt. Zudem wartet Version 1.1 mit neuen Regen- und Schneeeffekten auf. Bestandskunden können das Update über ihr simMarketkonto downloaden, Neukunden erhalten von Beginn an die aktuelle Version der Szenerie. Zum kompletten Changelog:
Re-textured Signature complex with baked textures (ambient occlusion)
• Inclusion of company logos on the east apron hangars
• Inserted gate number markings
• Additional apron-side objects added
• Cranked up the detail on the airport road entrance (We decided to push a
little more due to good feedback of FPS and VAS performance)
• Reworked hard winter airport ground texture to a much more realistic
snow cover appearance
• Replaced “brick” wall textures of the terminal and parking garage
• Added volumetric halo effect to the main apron floodlights (FSX and
Prepar3d v1, v2 & v3 only)
• Added volumetric grass to the islands of the airport and around
taxiways/runways (FSX and Prepar3d v1, v2 & v3 only)
• Added 3D lights to the roads and highways of the photoreal area (FSX
and Prepar3d v1, v2 & v3 only)
• Added soft snow cover effect above aprons, taxiways and runways during
heavy winter season (FSX and Prepar3d v1, v2 & v3 only)
• Added wet surface layer to FSX ground (FSX, P3D v1 only, SODE
required)
• Added wet surface layer and specular effect to the native material P3D
v2/v3 optional ground (SCASM is the default ground due to inability of
seasonal textures on P3D v2/v3 models) (Prepar3d v2 & v3 only)
• New installer coding for FSX/P3Dv1 version that allows user to select
between FSX/FSX-SE/P3Dv1 whose path will be located from the registry
and option to automatically insert the necessary entry into the scenery.cfg
file
• New installer coding for P3Dv2/P3Dv3 version that allows user to select
between P3Dv2/P3Dv3 whose path will be located from the registry and
option to automatically insert the necessary entry into the scenery.cfg file
• Autogen Configuration Merger tool integrated into the installer
(FSX/P3Dv1 and P3Dv2/P3Dv3) to add necessary autogen entry to the
default.xml file (required for 3D lights)
