Da muss ich schlicht und ergreifend sagen: trifft alles drei zu!
Dir ist aber schon klar, dass sich die 3 Punkte gegenseitig ausschliessen, oder?
Ganz klar, Günther hat recht… natürlich ist “eine schnelle Rezension” super. Wenn das Addon keine Husch-Husch-Arbeit ist, ist sie beim offiziellem Release auch schon voll rezensionsfähig. Sollten Bugs auftreten und später behoben werden, kann man dies ja immer noch per “Nachtrag” bekanntgeben.
Und gegen “tiefgehend” ist natürlich auch nix zu sagen, auch nicht bei v1.0 – schließt sich ja nicht aus.
Aber wenn es eine schnelle, tiefgehende Rezension nach Beseitigung der ersten Bugs ist, ist es natürlich ideal!

In jedem Falle eine realistische Rezension! Ich habe manches add on gekauft, nachdem Rezensionen sagten ‘Gut’, ‘eine Bereicherung für jeden Flusi’ oder ähnlich. Was ich dann bekam, war nicht selten ein ‘WIP-Produkt’ (WIP = work in progress). Also nicht nur ein kleiner bug hier und da, sondern eine ganze Reihe von zum Teil gravierenden Macken. Da stellt man sich dann schon die Fragen: Was machen eigentlich die beta-Tester und – auf welcher Grundlage entstehen Rezensionen?
simflight.de möchte ich auf diesem Wege aber ein Lob aussprechen. Ich lese Eure Ankündigungen/Rezensionen gerne und regelmäßig. Und böse Überraschungen wie oben beschrieben, habe ich bei Euch auch noch nicht erlebt.

Ausschliessen tut sich da nix. Natürlich nicht innerhalb eines Reviews, aber wenns möglich wäre, würde ich eben alle drei Varianten wahnsinnig gerne lesen!
Wenn ein Addon rauskommt, dann hätte ich gerne eine “Quick and dirty” Einschätzung. Dann wird ein paar Wochen später das Gerät auf Herz und Nieren abgeklopft. Und wiederum später mal die Qualität des Herstellers auf Bugbeseitigung und Support dargestellt.
Man hat nur nach meiner meinung gefragt. Ich verlange das alles natürlich nicht von Simflight. Kann aber wirklich nicht sagen, welche der Antworten für mich wichtiger wäre.
“Was machen eigentlich die beta-Tester” – generell testen Betatester und berichten darüber.
Alles Weitere ist dann Sache der Entwickler, bzw. des Marketings, wann, wie welche oder ob überhaupt Bugs behoben werden.
Da gibts durchaus große und interessante Unterschiede…!
Was allerdings passieren kann, ist, dass alle Tester das gleiche OS oder z.B. nur Accerleration Pack installiert haben und dann kurz nach Release User mit Soundkarte XY oder anderem OS Probleme haben. Das sollte man eben auch z Beginn eines Tests immer berücksichtigen.
Aber das nur mal so am Rande…zurück zum Thema 😉
