Best (P)Hub before North Pole!

Saturday, 26 DECEMBER 2009,

Santa Claus and

his brave reindeer have finished their delivery of precious goods to

countless

homes. It is now time to head for the North Pole, but hey,

Hamburg Fuhlsbuttel Airport

(EDDH) is on

their way and after all the hard work they take the opportunity to make

a stop

there and visit the “Best Hub before the North Pole”!

They really have deserved a

pint of Lager

in the “Best Pub before the North Pole”!

We are going to have three

groups of pilots

flying to EDDH on that day.

Since we wanted to include as

many pilots

as possible, we have categorized the routes into short haul routes,

medium

range routes and long haul routes. This way you, as a pilot, can take

part in

any of the categories that suites you most!

After voting within VATSIM

Germany’s

forum, the following points of departure were determined:

SHORT: London-Heathrow | EGLL |

ETD 18:30Z

| EET 1:20h

MEDIUM: Athens | LGAV | ETD

16:15Z | EET

3:10h

LONG: Boston Logan | KBOS | ETD

13:00Z |

EET 6:40h

The ETD (Estimated Time of

Departure) at

each ADEP was set in accordance with the fact that the ATCOs at Hamburg

EDDH

will be online from 1900Z onwards.

Naturally, you are allowed to

modify your

ETD if you think that your EET (Estimated Enroute Time = Flight Time)

will be

significantly different.

As we wish to make it as easy

as possible

for you to take part, the following information is made available for
