PMDG haben für die 747, sowohl die -400 als auch die -8 soeben über das Operations Center ein Update verteilt.
Beide Varianten haben damit die Versionsnummer 3.00.9195 (Nachtrag: Hotfix auf 3.00.9195). Capt. Randazzo hebt die Features und Fixes ein wenig hervor. So gibt es nun die Regeneffekte ebenso für die 747-400 Varianten (nur P3Dv4), darüber hinaus neue Funktionen für die EFB, Verbesserungen in der Performance, Bugs wurden gefixt und sonstige Verbesserungen. Für P3Dv4 Nutzer wird es in Zukunft auch PBR Texturen geben, das dauert aber noch.
Außerdem hat Mark Foti angekündigt, dass es mit diesem Update nun die EFB mit einem neuen Zusatzmodul auch mit seiner Remote CDU extern gesteuert werden kann. Auf seiner Homepage kann die aktuelle Version herunter geladen werden und man sich dann für 10€ die EFB freischalten lassen.
Hierzu gibt es jedoch noch den Wermutstropfen, dass aus lizenzrechtlichen Gründen in der Remote EFB keine Navigraph Charts angezeigt werden können. Daran wird aber seitens PMDG und Navigraph bereits gearbeitet.
