sieht zum Teil recht interessant aus! Mich würde zum Beispiel Nepal und Bhutan interssieren (Kathmandu – Paro – Kathmandu ist eine meiner Hausstrecken). Hat hier schon jemand Erfahrungen mit OpenVFR gemacht?

würde mich auch intressieren Eure Erfahrungen – selbst auf youtube sehe ich nur Bilder
… mit Ausnahme eines Videos von einer Landung in Island (Isafjordur). Da sehen die Texturen an sich ganz gut aus nur die Küstenlinien sind nicht gerade sehr vielversprechend…
Sodele, hab`s jetzt mal am Beispiel von Bolivien getestet. Allerings ist der Weg vom Aussuchen der gewünschten Dateien bis zur schlussendlichen Installation auf der heimischen Festplatte ein langer und schwerer. Unnötig kompliziert. Das macht so schon mal keinen Spaß und ich vermag noch nicht so ganz zu sagen, ob es die Nerven wert war. Warum vertreibt “man” denn openVFR nicht via Simmarket? Wäre erstens viel einfacher und zweitens würde man eine größere Bandbreite an Kunden erreichen?
Naja, egal. Mal zu OpenVFR selber. Wennm man viele Addons von z.B. ORBX hat die an der terrain.cfg rumbasteln, dann gibt es etwas Bastelarbeit. Es kommt nämlich eine eigenständige terrain.cfg mit. Also: Backup, backup und nochmals backup. Die Darstellung der Landschaft, Strassen, Ortschaften (Autogen)ect. ist ziemlich stimmig und überzeugt bereits ab ein paar hundert Fuss Flughöhe AGL. Und das fast überall. (Lediglich ein paar wenige Straßen verliefen – samt Verkehr – durch Häuser) Von daher gibt`s eigentlich (fast) absolut nix zu meckern – klasse gemacht. Nur die Küstenlinien (z.B. Titicaca-See) bleiben default und gezackt. Außerdem kommt es zu (verschmerzbaren) Beeinträchtigungen bei der Verwendung mit anderen Addon-Szenerien (z.B. La Paz und Sucre von LatinVFR), meist aber nur außerhalb der unmittelbaren Flughafengelände.
