Wenn ich euch daran erinnern darf: Beim FSX war es damals genauso. Wenn ich mich Recht entsinne, konnte man dort in der Demoversion auch nur einige Missionen machen und nicht in einer vorprogrammierten PMDG durch die Welt jetten.
Gebt dem Flight Zeit! Ich finde, die Grafik (man achte auf die vielen Objekte über den “schlecht-aufgelösten Bodentexturen”) ist nicht von schlechten Eltern – schon gar nicht, wenn das mit den empfohlenen Systemanforderungen möglich ist.
Was ich damit sagen will: Verurteilt ein Produkt nicht, bevor ihr es nicht selbst angespielt habt und euch ein faires (!) Urteil darüber bilden könnt! Das wird bei Flight natürlich besonders einfach, denn anscheinend kann man ihn kostenlos unbegrenzt testen und rüstet ihn nur auf, wenn es einem gefällt!
Ich muss dem oben Gesagten voll zustimmen. Mein FSX mit Add-Ons kommt da locker mit. Ich finde wir Simmer sollten bei den “alten” Flusis bleiben und die Entwickler “rumkriegen” weiterhin Add-Ons für die jetzigen Simulatoren zu entwickeln.
Also ich würde noch einen Schritt weiter gehen, David.
Die Entwickler sollten sich mal auf X-Plane stürzen!
Wenn PMDG eine 737 für X10 baut ist alles klar 😉

Na, so wie es aussieht, bin ich für den Neuen gut gerüstet – ich habe mir nämlich vor kurzem ein Gamepad gekauft. Damit werde ich bestimmt bei FLIGHT den ein oder anderen Highscore knacken!
Aber will ich das? Ich glaube nicht…

Die E-Mails zur Microsoft FLIGHT Beta wurden heute morgen herausgeschickt. Ich habe eine E-Mail um 04 Uhr Morgens erhalten.
Mit solchen Infos (@trungi) – noch dazu in einem offenen Forum – wär ich zwar vorsichtig (vgl. NDA der Beta-Bewerbung!), aber wenn ich mir ansehe, dass und v.a. wie die MS-Marketing-Maschine offenbar parallel zum Start der Betaphase (Dezember 2011) in die Offensive geht, frag ich mich, welchen Sinn dieses sog. Beta-Programm überhaupt noch hat. Ziel wird wohl _nicht_ sein, noch grundsätzlich an Flight zu arbeiten, sondern maximal noch “letzte” (Programm-)Fehler vor der Veröffentlichung (CES?) zu finden… Ob das “Konzept” insgesamt tauglich sein wird, eine m.E. “neue Sim-Piloten-Generation” heranzuziehen, wird sich erst nach der Veröffentlichung zeigen. Was ich dem jüngsten Video und dem sog. Fact-Sheet entnehme, erinnert mich stark an ein jüngstes Negativ-Erlebnis mit dem Konsolenport “Test-Drive Unlimited”, was auch für Konsolen-Kids sicher eine Zeit lang kurzweiligen Spielspaß bringt, aber z.B. ernsthafte Renn-Simulanten genauso schnell nervt. Sieht man sich jedoch die Trends im Spielemarkt allg. an, so setzen immer mehr auf DLC, extrem leichten Zugang (u.a. auch via Browser) und gemischte Konzepte. Hardcore-Gaming (und “ernsthafte Flugsimulation ist m.E. nichts anderes) wird wohl immer eine Nische bleiben, in der sich nur wenige Anbieter reinwagen werden – und vermutlich auch nur dann, wenn sich mit ihren “Hardcore-Games” auch auf anderen kommerziellen Feldern RoI generieren lässt (vgl. z.B. auch ARMA vs. Battlefield usw.)…
